THE ICOYACA GENERAL ASSEMBLY/ AfCFTA YOUTH ASSEMBLY 

The General Assembly is the supreme organ of the Council where matters of common concern and interest to youth of Africa in trade and general sustainability of the Council are discussed. During the General Assembly, issues of coordination and Council Policy harmonization are discussed. The General Assembly may in addition, review the structure, functions and Acts of all the Organs/Departments and any Specialized Committees which may be created in accordance with the present Constitution.

The General Assembly shall be headed by a President and shall held once at the end of every year. At any other agreed time of need, the Council may hold an Extraordinary General Assembly at the request of the ICOYACA Secretariat, the Country Chapter Champions or Accredited Representatives, and on approval by a two-thirds majority of the Country Chapter Champions. All General Assemblies eligible attendees shall be accordingly notified, with a written notice, given at a period of not less than 7 days.  

The General Assembly shall be composed of: 

a. Intergenerational Advisory Board of the Council; 

b. Council Secretariat;

c. All Regional Champions/Leads or Delegated and Accredited Representatives; 

d. All Country Chapter Champion/Leads or Delegated and Accredited Representatives.
