AfCFTA Debates – (Once every two months)

It has become of increasing significance to raise awareness of the AFCFTA amongst Africa’s burgeoning young population which is believed to hold the key to the continent’s development. The participation of young Africans is critical in ensuring the success of its implementation; however, a lack of knowledge and understanding of the agreement threatens to limit its impact. The AfCFTA Youth Council have therefore sought to address this challenge by hosting the AFCFTA debates, a series of online debates which aim to examine the trade agreement and its effects on several key areas such as the economy, gender and climate change.
